Pc's acting weird
 

Ok yesterday my PC got crazy. Whenever i right click on some drive...instead of open there are some symbols written. If i double click..the drive doesnt open,isntead a window opens saying OPEN WITH !! ...oh and if i tick the box show hidden files and folders...i still can't see them. I have three windows at the moment and same is the case with all of them. I tried updating my antivirus but it didn't help. I'll be seeking towards you people for some help...please help me out !! :sconfused:

Do you have a -system restore- on your OS
 

If you do it will take your computer back to a previes time .It is in your windows programs you can do a -explore -left click on windows logo on bottom left scroll to programs then to accessories then go to system tools click on system restore then it's self explanatory from there on out ...hope this helps...:)

did you install anything recently? Anything at all, updates, apps, etc - from a possibly non-legitimate source?
For it to affect your system this badly it sounds like data corruption or possibly a root kit (trojan-like software)

Like William said, have you ever installed any weirdo software (or using cracks) recently? It is possible you could been infected that way. Anyway, can you just download HijackThis and run HijackThis and post your log here for us? For automated suggestions, use this site: HijackThis Logfileauswertung (Don't worry it's in English, even if it's in German language, I think you can understand it)
