Paste html code in Live Journal.com

When a Website tells me to: "copy code and paste in your website", I understand it as, "copy the generated html code and paste it into your blogsite."
I have two blogsites. One in Blogger.com and the other in LiveJournal.com
In Blogger the process is known to me. I go to Dashboard, click on Layout, another click on Add Page Element, in the next window a click on Add HTML, that opens the 'write in' area window wherein I paste the code and click Save Changes and the job is done.
Some 'websites' say: "paste into the template of your website, in the 'body' section."
This I understand as: "paste the code between the two body tags, ie, <body> and </body>.
But in my LiveJournal.com blogsite, am not sure how to do the pasting.
Could you please tell me how to paste html code in Live Journal dot com.
This is puzzling me for quite some time now.
The instructions I received from Live Journal are not helpful as am unable to follow them.
Thank you,
ben aloysius
