only boots in safe mode
 

My name is Randy, I hope you can fix my problem. What I have tried so far is reinstalling windows completely. That has not worked. The installation gets to a certain point and i get the black screen of death. The other attempt to fix my problem was to run the repair system on the install disket. That did not work either. I got a message saying windows was unable to repair the problem.

Here is what it does when i try to boot with out the diskette in the diskette drive. After about one minute of booting up the test pattern for the CRT come up and nothing is happening with the boot up. So for the past month I have been running in safe mode and I really don't like this because.....well I don't have to tell you why it sucks running in safe mode.

I do hope someone has a solution to my dilema.

I have fixed my problem.
 

It took a lot of work, but I just formated all of my partitions and reinstalled my compaq operating system. I am not using vista any more but Windows XP professional works just fine.
