Online dating does this really works?
 

I always wonder whether the profiles shown in this sort of site, are they really of single looking for peoples or other wise just profiles created to make money. :oops:

Exactly my point there, I sometimes wonder, whether all those beautiful gals on the pic out there are for real, or its just like the site owner bought some database from somewhere and uploaded it?
I hope not...maybe there are real ppl out there to be dated in the online world! :lol:

I'll tell you now, most of us girls avoid online dating 100%. Its rather creepy imo. I don't even like myspace because random people would message me :( But still it is a profitable business in terms of being a webmaster for one.

ON the dating part of this topic...

I doubt that the site owners bought a database of people and just put it on there. I always hear stories about this person met this person on the net and they finally met in real life and got married. THere are real people on there but if you need the net to hide who you really are and can't get a date or too shy to get a date in real life and resort to eDating then there are some discrepincies... You can be WHOEVER and WHATEVER you want to be on the net cause 5/10 times no one wil know. =(





You are right melinda they make plenty. THey sold myspace for half a billion $'s right? (500,000,000)...
You get enough people on a site the rate that your ads get clicked increases and your revenue increases at the same time.

Myspace was NOT thought of by it's former owner but the idea stolen from another company/site.
Pretty sad when tsuphat happens and the original creator spent time and another company/site with MONEY supersized it into what it is today.

Almost all my school is on myspace... Great place but some real weird people.

I have to agree with that. Also I find it a bit strange how there are so many guys on the Internet looking for g/f I think that is fine if you happen to run into someone on the net, and for some reason you both happen to fall in love. But looking for a g/f or b/f, is strange.

well, some people find love this way...but i think many people do it just for fun...
