Often in Offline mode

I am new around here. Have many questions. Shall ask them, one by one, on different threads.

My Laptop - Acer Extensa 5620Z - Windows Vista Home Basic - recently switched to IE 9 Beta. Dial Up connection.

After connecting to Internet, most often it says: The page cannot be
displayed as you are OffLine.

I never go off line willingly. What is taking me Offline and how could
I prevent it going Offline?

IE 9 is still in beta and very buggy. Downgrade it to IE8 and see if the problem still persists

Thank you Sir. Uninstalled ie9 beta and am now in ie 8 with no troubles.
