Norton Removal
 

What I have done is tried to load Norton System Works (2003) on my computer, running XP Pro w/SP1. Part of the way through it stopped and prompted me for a file it could'nt copy from CD. So I figured bad CD.

Well now I can't remove what ever hidden or what ever file it did put on there. I mean everything is gone, including registry entries, but when I try to re-enstall it tells me I still have the software on there.

You can use System Restore to get rid of Norton's files till you get the removal tools.
