Hello Juke, the simplest way would be to get a graphics card with a 'TV Out' connection with an appropriate cable ( usually comes with your card but never seems to be long enough! ).

I picked one up about three years ago for £15.

Martin,
First, thanks for the reply. Second, if one can use a web cam with a video patrol software, which allows one to monitor on a tv screen, then could i use this software for the first question? ?????This is all a new feild for me.

If you can get the video patrol software to monitor the signal from your PC DVD player instead of the webcam, then I can't see why not.

The problem will be getting it to accept the signal from the PC DVD player with or without some kind of signal converter through either the appropriate hardware or software.
