How many PHP coders?

How many php programmers do we have one this forum? I'm one :) Best language of all

It's better to learn how to design first I think and then learn

how to script, usually when you script alot

you lose your "color senses" and can't see when you

choose ugly colors :P

I just know what I need. Can easily adapt or change some stuff but if you ask me to program a php script from scratch, I won't.

I know of a forum, that is employing coders. Anybody interested, them PM me for details.

i'm knowledgable in a fair number of languages, and fairly advanced in a couple. PHP unfortunatly does not fit in either category. I have always wanted to learn it along with becoming advanced in cgi, etc.. but there just aren't enough hours in the day.. hopefully i'll get a course in it, or learn it over a summer or somethin. I would like to hope someday to be at least informed on all popularly implemented languages. :D

I know a bit of PHP but it is all pretty much self-taught. Started by just working with installed script. I have a programming history though so the fundamentals I have had for years, which made it a lot easier.

I'm a php fan. Trying to justify developing an AJAX heavy site at our school, but I haven't found the hook yet. Any ideas for "necessary" AJAX applications in educational setting?

Graphic design and PhP programming are like two worlds. Not that I am against any collaboration of the two in your learning endeavors, but I suggest you pick one and concentrate on that first. I honestly have not met anyone who is top notch in those two fields as they are both very difficult to learn in their advanced stages. Either you become a hardcore programmer or a wicked designer. In worst cases, end up with both mediocre skills.
