How to listen to the local radio in Windows 7 media center?
 
Radio is one such source of media which is the mostly reached to people. Now you can get the radio on your computer through the media center in Windows 7. Before going ahead with the option of listening to the radio you need to have a TV tuner card installed and the FM antenna connected. Many of the TV tuner cards have the FM antenna in it.

The following steps will help you how to listen to radio after installing the TV tuner card.

Step 1: Open the Windows 7 media center.

Step 2: Scroll to Music and select Radio.

Step 3: Click on FM Radio.

Step 4: The radio will turn on the current station frequency will be displayed in the white box.

Step 5: There are tree options available namely
  • Preset
  • Seek
  • Tune

Step 6: The options given in the above step will have two buttons (+ and -) which can be used to tune to the required one.

Step 7: To save the current station, click on the save as preset button and it can be saved.

Step 8: The station can also be named as required after clicking the save as preset button.

Now once you have saved all the presets, on the preset screen you will get all the stations that you have saved. Now enjoy Radio on your computer.
