How to know if a game will run on your computer

To know if a game will run on your computer, you have to check on a couple of things.

First, check on your computer’s specification and Windows Experience Index. To find out what the base score is of your computer, you click on Start, then Control Panel, then System and Maintenance, and then Performance Information and Tools.

If there are no sub-scores or a base score, click on Update my score. You will be asked for the administrator’s password and confirmation. Enter the password and confirmation. Compare the number for Base score with the base score of the game you want to use. Your computer’s base score should be more than or equal to the game’s base score in order for the game to run on your computer.

The game’s base score is usually found in the packaging and other information on the product. Also check for the game’s minimum requirements such as processor speed, amount of RAM and graphics memory, and free space in the hard disk. To view the computer’s specifications, click View and print details, then see the specifications in the Details column then compare with the game’s specification.
