How to Fix “No Video Displayed” in VLC Player on Windows 7
 
VLC player is the most popular media player for all the users regardless the operating system they are working on. The main reason behind its popularity is due to its capability of playing almost every media format.

VLC Media Player is compatible on Windows 7 which is great news for all the users. But many users are facing a similar issue while they are using VLC Player on Windows 7. “No video is displayed” is the problem that you might face every time you try to play a video file on it. Below are the steps to get rid of this problem:

1. Launch VLC Media Player and then click on TOOLS>>PREFERENCES on the MAIN MENU

2. Now, under the Preferences windows, click on VIDEO on left navigation panel

3. Now you need to click on the drop down menu for Output. Here, you need either select WINDOWS GDI VIDEO OUTPUT or DIRECTX VIDEO OUTPUT as the eligible output.

4. Restart your VLC Media Player.

And that is all, now your VLC Player will play all the video formats.
