How to disable/enable the animation that comes up while minimizing windows in win7
 

If you are new to Windows 7 and your might have noticed the animation that comes up while you minimize and maximize the windows. If you like it then it is well and good but of you do not like that and feel like disabling it, then we are here to help you.

The following steps will guide to how to do the same:

Step 1: Click on Start and select control panel.

Step 2: Select System from the System security option.

Step 3: From the left pane, Select Advanced settings.

Step 4: Select the Advanced Tab and then go to Settings tab.

Step 5: Select the first performance tab that is the first settings tab.

Step 6: Select the Visual Effects tab.

Step 7: Check or Uncheck the option of “Animate Windows When Minimizing or Maximizing option.”

Step 8: Click on apply and click OK.

Now the animation will be gone and there after you wont be getting the animation while you minimize or maximize the windows.
