Halo for the Macintosh

I recently downloaded the Halo demo for the Macintosh. I was very, very surprised that they had made Halo for the Mac. I think the demo is great, they give you Level 4 and let you play online multiplayer on Blood Gulch. I like how there is fuel rod cannons, and rocket launchers on the back of the Warthog (which wasn't even in Halo 2). Unfortuanately, it lags like the wind, so I don't get a very enjoyable experience out of it. I'm thinking of downloading it for my Windows so I can actually have some fun.

Yea, I have played a few games on a mac, and it wasnt the same experience. PCs are much better and cheaper for gaming, and there are a bunch more games that you can play.

Macs aren't really gaming computers, they are more for multimedia and stuff (at least that's what I've heard). I just wish my other computers were as fast online as the Mac is. The XP I use is dial up, but my Compaq and Macintosh have Comcast, and the Compaq is horrible slow, and the Mac doesn't run games well. I'm in a real pickle here. :(

Think of it this way. Halo belongs on the Xbox. Xbox is Halo at the monent :) It is not the greatest game to play at all on the PC [Just point and click really] You would be much better off buying Quake IV or getting CS:S if you are looking for some online action.
