Half-Life 2 vs Doom3?
 

I'm a big fan of Half-Life including Half-Life 2. It was my first PC game back in 1998. I heard that it won over 50 game awards and made a revolution in first-person shooting games. Well, Half-Life 2 is even more fun, great storyline, stunning graphics, impressing physics engine and breath-taking sounds. Won over 30 game awards, I think. But how if compared with Doom3? Which game will you think is better? I didn't even tried the game because of it's dark gameplay and of course quite scary too.

i find half life 2 a more 'opened' game, you have to think a little more to finish it, its not only 'shotem all' game. but i like doom 3 too.

I have played Half Life only two times but i like it way more than Doom 3. I Also Like How They Came Out With Counter Strike for half life 2. I Would Pick COD2 Over Half Life But, Thats Just Me.

no doubt that halflife 2 is superior. Its graphics are superior, everything you see seems real, you can shoot a can and i tlooks real how it flys, gravity and everything. The storyline in half life 2 is also extrodinary

though i'm a sucker for sequals, HL2 is just better... and this poll has already proven that :)

Definetly! The physics at HL2 are amazing as well as the graphics and the storyline is also addictive.

Doom III
 

gotta give my thanks to doom III for making me spend long hour nights of wet pants terror at 2:30 am. half life 2... weapons suck. EOS. :D *welcomes the Flames*

Personally, I think Doom 3 looks a lot scarier. It's seems to have a much more sinister feel to it. :icon_wink:

i like doom3 but only because i havnt played the other one
