Error : Cannot delete old vista files from my drive (D://)
 

hay all
this is my firest problem in this forum

my problem is :

i installed windows vista on my drive d:
This drive contains all my own programmes, movies and many other things
I do not want to do format would cause many problems
I want delete system old files only
But when I delete it gives me the error: that these files are not allowed me to delete or edit - that I used windows Vista now the Drive C:
this is error : i sk now - how i delete the old system files from my drive (D:)??

Without reformatting and reinstalling everything....there is no safe way to truely remove all the old files. This is typical as a newer operating system overrides the older one and changes the MBR of the old to work with the new.

If there is a problem with any particular file then post about repairing or removal of that file...other than that I would leave things as they are ....you could be making it very bad on trying to remove the old system files.
