copying large files to cd

Hi,

I would llike to know if there is a way to copy large size files, say 2GB to a writable CD? Perhaps there is a utility program that I am unaware of that can do the job. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

as in 2Gb onto 700mb discs? impossible, unless you are talking about splitting the file into smaller pieces, then quite doable. I know that winzip has a built in splitter, but win rar is my personal favorite, simply choose a number of files, or max size of file and it splits the file into pieces, then to extract the file again simply place all the pieces in a directory and presto as if they were a single compressed file.
