Clock Time
 
My time & date keep going back to Jan 2002, I adjust to the right
Date and time, but when I start my PC up sgain the next day it
is back to Jan 2002
The Automtically Syc just have me a error .
With it on or off it goes back to Jan 2002 when I start Up
Please Help

This could be due to any of the following problems.

1. CMOS battery failing or is bad.
2. Any third party utilitles/tools gone bad
3. Screensavers

Most probably in your case it could be CMOS battery failure, if CMOS battery is bad, the date and time will get reset to the BIOS manufacturer's date.

How and where do I replace the CMOS battry, where do I get one to fit.
Never done that before

the CMOS battery is on your motherboard, and it looks just like a watch battery, find a battery like that and you've found what you need to replace. Pull it out, check the number and go to local watch store, or Walmart etc, heck my local convenience store carries the batteries I need for all...11 of the computers in my network.

I found the Battery needed at the local store,
Put it in the PC and the clock, Date ,Time , all great Now!
