ClickLock in Windows XP
 

If you are fed up with clicking and holding the mouse button in order to highlight the text or to drag it somewhere, you can use ClickLock, which is a mouse feature in Windows XP that makes this step much easier. In order to enable you have to:

Click on the Start, then on Control Panel. From the Control Panel click on Mouse. The Mouse Properties will open. In the Buttons section you’ll see Button configuration, Double click speed and ClickLock. Check the square in front of the Turn on ClickLock in order to turn it on. Next to it are the Settings for the ClickLock, which give you the opportunity to choose the delay time for the ClickLock to be activated.
