cd key recovery "from the cd"????
 

i have my MS office 2003 cd....lost the case but "thought" ..... i wrote the key down correctly.
want to install it......and keeps telling me invalid key......can i recover it "FROM THE CD" if it's not installed on the comp.???? thanks:icon_twisted: :tongue:

No you cannot...

There is no copy of the activation code (license) stored on the CD as wombat states.

If it was preveously installed then you might be able to find it stored some where on your computer unless you removed the program already! If it was not too far back then a system restore may restore your system back to when it was still installed and you can retrieve it then!
