boot.ini gone

Can you help me restore erased boot.ini file? I'm on laptop, so hdd is internal. What tool might boot and restore this file?

are you sure it is missing? does the computer boot? if so: right click my computer, go to advanced tab select "startup and recovery" then choose edit under that menu to view your boot.ini

the computer didn't boot and that was the main problem for me...
i've tried disk doctor a few days ago and that worked, the computer is back online now
