Amilo xa 2528 not booting up
 

ive recently got amilo xa 2528 and its not booting, when i turn it on, fan just keeps spinning, cd rom and hdd spins for a second the spins again and again, the numlock caps-lock and scroll lock are lit and hdd led is blinking, screen shows nothing.
ive heard that this laptop is experiencig lotsa problems cause of its terrible cooling and fujitsu says that i need to upgrade bios (warranty expired) now how can i flash bios when its not booting and are there any other fixes? thanx in advance :)

Hi, I have the same problem with the same notebook - xa2528.. it starts and thats it.. I contacted the fujitsu siemens support, and they think its problably the motherboard.. I cannot get it fixed, because the guarentee has expired.. have you found a solution to yours or had it for repair??

a friend has advised me to totally rewrite bios with a special tool at someplace, but i havent done it yet,
