Default Remove a dual Boot

I was running Win XP on one hard drive. I had an unused hard drive so I installed Vista on that. I installed a dual boot so I could switch between Win XP and Vista. The hard drive on which I installed Vista failed so I removed it; ordered a new hard drive and installed it. It is now formatted ready to use. I no longer plan on using Vista but I still have to go thru the selection process of choosing which hard drive I want. How do I remove this dual boot function?

I followed the instructions given on this forum to right click on my computer, click on properties, choose advanced, uncheck 30 second delay and then click on edit. When the notepad boot.ini shows up, it does not have the WINNT line in it called for in the instructions. Is there a work around for this? This is needed to remove the Vista boot setup.

Jesse
