Windows Dual Boot on separate drives

I have just purchased a new PC with Windows Vista Premium installed. I am not ready to abandon Windows XP as of yet. The new system has two separate drives. I have also purchased the full version of Windows XP Home to install on the second drive. I would like to do this so I can chose which operating system to boot to. All of the step by step Dual Boot scenarios that I can find on the web seem are for partitioning a single drive for a dual boot.

What is the step by step procedure for setting up a dual boot with Windows Vista Premium already installed on the primary drive C and then install Windows XP Home on drive D so I can select which OS I would like to boot to at start up?

Thank you!
