Hello Charles, sorry about the short reply it was a bit late in the night for me ,have you got the 32bit or 64bit version of Vista and/or XP?

If they are both the same for your board and processor there shouldn't be any problem. You can just install the hard drive as if you were doing a fresh installation on a new system with your XP. You can just connect the hard drive set to boot from it in your bios and install as usual.

Either that or we would be back to the same problem of needing the Vista DVD. If you need a small guide in showing you what you need to do just give me a bit of time and I'll put it together for you.
