Thumbs down Same problem, filepicker closed unexpected, both Firefox and Thunderbird

I'm also having the "filepicker ended unexpectedly" error. It recently stated to happen in both Firefox and Thunderbird (latest, Windows XP on Athalon-based laptop).

I tried the above fix, but no effect. Is there some other way to determine what is wrong and adjust it? Thanks in advance!
