This could be due to any of the following problems.

1. CMOS battery failing or is bad.
2. Any third party utilitles/tools gone bad
3. Screensavers

Most probably in your case it could be CMOS battery failure, if CMOS battery is bad, the date and time will get reset to the BIOS manufacturer's date.
