To make sure its not a Internet Explorer problem, try pinging in command prompt, you can do that by Start -> Run.. -> type cmd ok, In command prompt window type ping

You should see something like this:
Pinging [] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from bytes=32 time=33ms TTL=245
Reply from bytes=32 time=32ms TTL=245
Reply from bytes=32 time=31ms TTL=245
Reply from bytes=32 time=30ms TTL=245

Ping statistics for
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 30ms, Maximum = 33ms, Average = 31ms
If it is pinging then the problem may be with you Internet Explorer.

If it displays error messages then there may be problem with your network settings.
