Usually wireless routers range is 100m (328 ft).

You can try Linksys WRT54G router as Javester said here (http://www.syschat.com/2382-post10.html) They run on Linux and being so, a lot of hobbyist have created alternative firmware distributions that allow you all kinds of amazing functionality, e.g. boost the signal 10x over, QoS for reliable VoIP, use "alternative" channels, WDS, VPN, etc. etc....

And you can also use Wireless-G Range Expander to expand the range of your router.
