Default remote connection to my laptop.

Hi.
Am using Nokia C3-00. I used to connect it with my laptop remotely. But now the device is not connected.
Whenever i want to use it as a modem i get this message" there is no Nokia modem installed"
What should i do to rectify the error.

This message is popping up on my laptop screen. "Microsoft Feeds Synchronization has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" What might be the problem and how can i correct the error.
