Default use a flash disk instead

hi terefe, thats quite a unique question. the windows xp installer cd has about 600mb of files. its not possible to fit them all into multiple floppy disks.

i suggest you install windows xp using a usb flash disk instead. actually, it would be better to install windows 7 (also using a usb flash disk). Windows XP is outdated and will soon no longer be supported by microsoft.

This is a good link from Syschat itself for configuring a usb flash disk with the installation files of windows 7, and then of course the video shows using the SysChat - Windows 7 - Install Windows 7 From a USB Flash Drive or USB Hard Drive

Either way, the easiest method would indeed be if you can get a replacement dvd drive. Good luck and let us know if you have any questions
