Hello:
I had to replace the motherboard, memory and power supply on my computer because the old board was failing. The Computer kept shutting off without warning and would not stay on.
When I try to install Windows Vista Business – Full Install, I get the following message and code:
Recovery Disk
Windows cannot install required files. The files may be corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart installation.
Error Code: 0x80070017
Windows Vista Business Full Install Disk (I bought the full install version on 8/8/10)
Windows cannot open the required file E:\source\install.wim. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make Sure all files required for installation are available, and restart installation.
Error Code: 0x80070570
The Hard Drive is formatted. Can someone please be so kind as to what I can do to correct this problem. I am pulling out what little hair I have left on my head trying to install Windows Vista Business, so I can have my computer back.
