I believe that the extra RAM might not be compatable with the system then, if this is the case then try to get something else like ram from some other company. Or you might have done something to the other chip while you were trying to fix this one, so I suggest you just open it up again and check if you've fixed both of them correctly.

And yes, we'll need more details to figure this one out...
