Default Vista Message about Unexpected Shutdown

Hey guys,

I just keep getting a window popping up saying that Windows (i have Vista) just recovered from an Unexpected Shutdown, and yet the computer otherwise seems to work fine. Though recently, while working on the computer, the screen went blue (with white words) and we had to restart. I rebooted in safe mode, but I don't know how to diagnose this kind of problem.

I get application error messages pretty often too, in case that is a contributing factor to whatever the problem is.

Any idea what's going on?
