go to the manufactures (computer) website and under support /drivers/downloads follow the prompts to get to the drivers for your computer. In there you will find the network adapter driver. Download it and install it to your computer and reboot. The found new hardware wizard should pop up and finish install thing the network adapter. You will then need to reconfigure the network.....If you are using dial up or DSL you will need the installation CD for the ISP.
