Default xp trouble

Computer Winbook (Laptop) Windows XP Prof.
The computer stop working and show in the screen…..
Press F10 to start recovery.
A disk read Error occurred
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
.
When you press C+A+D to restart it comes back to the same thing. I insert bootable disk in the CD Rom and succeeded to down load setup windows XP for Repair. After I click R (R for repair) the computer came back again to the same thing (Press C+A+D). But new trouble show up.
Now when I insert the bootable CD in the CD ROM. I’ getting this “No Bootable CD in ATAPI CD-ROM”. I tried another Boot CD but it did work. I wonder if my CD (the ATAPI CD-ROM unit) some how some way went bad OR Windows XP failed to read the CD ROM).
I tried Lan Boot it give me this
For realtek RT8139(x)/8139(x)/8130/810x PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.13 (020326)
PXE-ED1: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.
Note, I changed the boot sequence to 1st Boot device to CD-ROM Drive, 2nd boot to Hard Dist drive, 3rd boot device to Floppy Disk drive (No Floppy disk drive in my computer, and 4th Boot to Lan Boot. Unfortunately there is no A drive in the computer to install windows. Please advise
