there are several ways to transfer files between drives or partitions.

1) "send to" or "move to" or "copy to" options are performed by highlighting the selected file(s) and right clicking the highlighted area. The options window will appear and just select the option you want to perform and in the browse for folder window just choose which one.
2) drag and the two windows...a) where the file is located...b)where you want the file to be moved to. use the window resizer so that you can shrink the windows to half of your monitor viewing area or less and move them side by side. left click on the files to be moved and holding the mouse button down...drag the files to the other window and then release the mouse button!
3) use third party applications to manage your files...
