Default Re: Flash Player problems

Hi All,

New poster. I have a similar problem to Pirate's... I'm getting flash9e.ocx errors. Some sites seem to work; others don't. I've tried running Adobe's Uninstaller, rebooted, cleared all temporary Internet files / cookies, etc. I've also tried downloading and installing the latest version player from Adobe (v multiple times. It's THIS vesion that's causing the problems.

I'm running Windows 2000 SP-4 / IE 6.0 SP-1. My Internet security settings are a customized "medium"; with only "Initialize and script Active-X controls not marked as safe" set to 'Prompt'. Everything else is set to 'Enable'.

I've been a "grunt" front-line desktop tech for a little over 12 years; and this one's got me banging my head.

Any other ideas?
