Default Installing Windows XP professional wit Vista already installed.

I have finished making partition for installing Windows XP Professional. But when I boot it from CD ROM, it always mention like this:

" Setup did not find any hard disk drives install in your computer.
Make sure any hard disk drives are powered on and properly connected to your computer, and that any disk-related hardware configuration is corrected. This may involve running a manufacturer-supplied diagnostic or setup program."

What can I do for this?

I am also trying to do the same on my sister's HP Laptop running Vista Home.

I have done all the steps as suggested in setting it up to run XP as well as Vista and then when booting from the XP disk I also get this same error message and can't go any further.

Any help how to fix this please.

Regards
