Default How can I disable Windows firewall????

I have been using Limewire to download music and have had no problems whatsoever. Recently, when I try to connect to Limewire, I have a Windows firewall blocking my connection.

I have tried everything imaginable to turn off this firewall!!!! I also use McAfee Security and the firewall protection is turned on... I just don't understand why this has just started occurring and why I can't disable this Windows firewall??!!???

Any suggestions? I have tried everything including the suggestions on LimeWire Help...

You can disable the Windows firewall in the control panel. It's listed under Windows Firewall. You will need to be running with administrator rights to disable the firewall.
Here is more about Windows Firewall. If you're using the McAfee firewall, I would just turn off the Windows Firewall.
