The computer does not start after you change the active partition by using the Disk Management tool
04-05-2006 03:24 AM
Description: After you use the Windows Disk Management snap-in tool to mark your primary partition as active, the computer may not start, and you may receive the following error message:
NTLDR is missing.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.
This behavior occurs if the partition marked as active does not contain the Windows boot files or the boot files for another operating system.

trouble Re: The computer does not start after you change the active partition by using the Disk Management tool

hello,
I am a new member. can someone help me to solve the following problem.
I was installing windows xp on my system(810E mother board, celeron 766 MHz, 128MB RAM).After all the files are written to hard disk when the system restarts the booting procedure restarts and runs upto the graphic display starts and goes again to rebooting. Is it the problem of VGA port or what. when I start with live linux CD(knoppix) it gives an error"CPU context corrupt In interrupt handler". I tried with different bios setting still it is not working. can someone help??????
with regards
