Default Pen drive problem


I am using windows XP professional,when i connect pendrive to the USB port it is showing Access denied.can you suggest me how can this problem is solved.

Has the pen / flash drive been write protected (tiny fiddly little switch on the side)...

You really ought to think more about using your email address as a username. The spam bots will be onto that quicker than a pack of dogs on to a three legged cat...

Also, the drive might be U3. This is a special flash drive that is prewritten with an installation program for running applications from USB drives.. This can also be password protected and as well as be denied installation on domain/network computers....where Admins have restricted their use.
