Type ipconfig in your command prompt window.

It will display your IP Address, Subnet, and Default Gateway.

This is valuable info to know in your IT career.

ipconfig /setclassid < adapter > < classID to set > - Changes the DHCP class ID for the adapter specified.

ipconfig /? - Displays this list.

Some ISPs are using a a service network and DNS specific networks only by name so as to hide/confuse hackers.

ipconfig in my computer shows this as
connection....DNS specific.......grandecom.net
then it displays the router specific setting and generic gateway setting.

which non of these is showing the true IP address.
